Free Tutoring HelpOur writing tutor Joe Stefani, Senior Staff Tutor, offers free writing tutoring by appointment or drop-in. AdvisingAPASA provides a comfortable environment where students can get confidential academic and personal advice. Campus and Community InformationBrochures and fliers available at APASA provide information about internships, employment, and scholarship opportunities as well as about campus and community events. Partnerships with OthersAPASA provides a medium of interaction between different UA departments and Asian Pacific American students. There are plenty of networking opportunities. NewsletterThe "APASA Insider" is written by APASA student volunteers to help inform students, parents and the community about new programs, services, and club news. Study and Lounge AreaAPASA provides a comfortable atmosphere to study and socialize, and for those students sleepy from all-nighters, there are couches for daytime naps. LibraryAPASA is working to establish a center based multi-media library to provide resources for the campus and community. This will compliment our APA book library. A Voice with University AdministrationThe Center Director and Student Board provide an important connection between students and administrators, helping students voice their concerns to the university administration. |
