Listserv

The primary mechanism used by APASA to keep the campus community up-to-date about special events and other important information is through an electronic listserv.

How does the APASA listserv work?

In an attempt to minimize the amount of electronic mail you receive from APASA, our listserv is limited to one message per week. Each Monday, APASA will send out our "Monday Message" containing announcements for the upcoming week. You will only receive this ONE message each week. Occassionally, we will receive an important announcement AFTER our "Monday Message" has gone out. If the message can wait until the following week, we will hold it. If the message is time-sensitive - that is, if we wait, you will miss the event - then we will send a supplemental listserv message. We try very hard to minimize these "late messages."

How can I post a message to the listserv?

Because we only send one message per week you must send any message you wish to be included in our Monday Message to Dan Xayaphanh NO LATER than 5:00PM the Friday before you wish the message to appear. APASA reserves the right to determine whether your message is appropriate for our listserv.

How do I get ON the listserv?

Any student who self-identified on their application for admission as "Asian" or "Asian American" is automatically added to our listserv at the beginning of the year. If you would like to be added to our listserv please send an e-mail to listserv@listserv.arizona.edu. Your message should read as follows:

If you are an UNDERGRADUATE student:

subscribe APACRC Firstname Lastname
end

If you are a GRADUATE or PROFESSIONAL student:
subscribe APASA-GRAD Firstname Lastname
end

Substitute your first name for "Firstname" and your last name for "Lastname" in the message.

How do I get OFF the listserv?

If you would like to be removed from our listserv please send the following e-mail to listserv@listserv.arizona.edu.
